Cask – Manchester

A four day weekend means more time to get out and about visiting some of the city’s pubs!

On the recommendation of my boss we popped into Cask near the Museum of Science and Industry. It’s a cosy looking bar which is painted blue so you can’t really miss it.

As the name suggests, it has a couple of pumps with local ales but I was far more excited about its European beer.

I went for a Schneider Weiss while Ross went for a St Feuillien – and they always taste so much better in the correct glass!

And it’s not just on tap, there’s also a good selection of bottled beers.

It is a bit on the pricey said but when it’s just off Deansgate and sells a lot of specialist beer it’s to be expected.

The pub itself has a nice atmosphere with a good mix of clientele. It also has a little beer garden (of course it was raining when we visited!)

Definitely somewhere which would be worth another trip.
